SRS supplies a range of compliant bitumen cutbacks (MC grades) which are used for priming unbound aggregate road bases, promoting adhesion between a seal or asphalt and base or as a sealing binder.
MC Cutbacks are normally made from 60/70 grade bitumen (other bitumen grades can be made to order) diluted with precise quantities of various solvents to reduce handling temperatures and viscosities. Solvents used include kerosene (LA cutter), high flash kerosene (HFK) and diesel (Flux).
